teaching

well today i had to teach a lesson on cricket for striking and fielding and it was a tough one. It all started off bad. I tried contacting my partner all weekend to meet so we would go over the lesson plan that i put together because he would never answer my phone calls. Well sunday ngiht i never got a phone call back so i went to sleep. This morning i woke up with 2 missed calls from him. He wanted to meet last ngiht at 11 o clock. i ended up meeting him the morning our lesson was due to be taught. we began to teach and i was trying to let him teach but it was affecting our grade. I ended up teaching the lesson myself petty much. Luckly coach Ruiz noticed what was going on and split our grades up. This lesson today made me realize that you have to be ready for anything and expect the worse when planning a lesson.

Speaking of teaching, we need to do our podcast. You were saying you wanted to talk about female wrestling. We could have a debate about it and say something about how your against it and I am for it. Whether you are against it or not sometimes thats how debates work. It will make the whole process of it more organized and clear. Let me know...

I could tell you did all the work because your partner didnt have a clue what he was doing when we went to the basketball court. Your grade should definately be different from his because you did all the work. I hope that never happens to me because i would be pretty mad at my partner. Especially when cricket is something that you have to teach carfully because no one has played it before striking/fielding activities.

I feel terrible that the lesson you had to teach didn't go so well. In my opinion, it was really ignorant of your partner to not call you back, and then expect you to meet at 11:00 at night. I know how stressful it can be teaching in front of your peers, so you probably wanted to be more prepared than you were. But, the good thing was that your professor was understanding enough to give you 2 separate grades. For your sake, I hope you never have to teach a lesson with that same partner again. I'm sure everything will work out next time - good luck!
