wakeboarding
My physical education topic for this class is wakeboarding. I been doing some research on this topic, and i have recently found that this sport is becoming much bigger. I have been wakeboarding for about 6 years now. This is probably the most expensive sport ever. Between mantaining the boat, buying gas, and buying the equipment needed to wakeboard, my wallet has a small dent in it. Even with the cost of this sport i would never want to stop doing it.

I can honestly say that wakeboarding is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Maybe I am just not meant to balance that way but I have tried doing it for about 3 years now every summer and have only got to my feet for longer than 10 seconds one time. From what my friends say it is easier if you know how to snowboard but then again I have never done that so it doesn't seem like I would be any good at that either. I'll stick to the tubing where it takes no skill to do but is still a ton of fun.
i like wakeboarding too and i agree it is expensive. My parents tell me everytime we go out on our boat that gas isnt free when i try doing 180s over the wake and keep falling. Im getting better though but im much better at knee boarding and water skiing. I didnt have much trouble getting up at first i just couldnt do any tricks and i got bored with it. Now that i can jump the wake a little it is a lot more fun for me and my friend.
